We had a fast-and-furious snow shower this afternoon. As much as I am a SUMMER person, it’s good to see the pine branches drooping with puffy white snow and to see the brown winter grass disappear under a fresh layer of WINTER. The kids received a little wooden sleigh from Santa and they hadn’t even used it yet–tragic! Well, fear not. We were outside before you could say Jack Frost.
The neighbors were out to play, too! Oldest to youngest and left to right: Carter (5), Drew (3), Layla (2), Owen (1)
One more item checked off our winter bucket list! Drew named her Lurkey.
What a joy.
Of course, when brother starts eating snow, there’s no stopping him.
Selfie with a prime lens– you have to accept the double chin to get the camera to focus!
The star ornament eyes are creepy, but we didn’t have any charcoal and the garden rocks were frozen to the ground.
Drew ate the tip of the carrot nose.
What– you don’t wear footy pajamas under your snowpants?
